Have you seen many troubles? Maybe you feel like you’ve seen too many. I get it.
God’s Word says, “Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again” (Psalm 71:20 NIV).
That Bible verse brings comfort to know God will restore our lives again. Perhaps you have lost a job or a home because of the economy. You’ve seen troubles, many and bitter. God will restore your life again.
Maybe the many troubles you’ve seen come from years of physical, verbal, or sexual abuse as a child. God will restore your life again.
Death or divorce will cause you to experience troubles, many and bitter. Claim God’s promise that he will restore your life again.
If you tend to worry, that may lead to health problems. God will restore your life again.
No matter what the trial is, God says he will restore our lives again. The second part of verse 20 says, “From the depths of the earth you will again bring me up.”
Through grief, trauma, or other troubles, we may have sunk emotionally. However, we can count on God to keep his Word. “From the depths of the earth, you [God] will bring us up again.”
